what you guys think should i go for it im very tempted.

Seems a good deal if you actually get the 50mm f/1.4g and not just the box. That's worth a few hundred. The 135mm is about £130 the 35-70 is pretty good and around £250. 85mm f2 around £100 depending on exact model. Sb700 is a decent budget flashgun around £100
A good d700 costs around £1000 the lenses probably would cost over £500 to buy. The hoods should come with the lenses anyway, the filters are pretty much worthless, the books aren't worth much.

Some if the lenses are very old, but still decent. If the 50mm is the g version then that's pretty new.

If you make use of it all then its a good deal.

More like £150-180 for the SB700, never seen it for £100... ever! (It's £220 new on amazon.co.uk by the way)

If it's an eBay deal, it'll be a scam. Unless you can do cash on collection, it's probably going to be a scam.

Apologies for being cynical but could it possibly be for sale by the OP (first post, no other posts anywhere else etc,.)

Like I said, most of the lenses are old ai-s lenses, not necessarily a bad thing, but don't expect brand new stuff, except the 50mm 1.4 which should be a bit more modern.

There are a couple of sb700s on eBay for around the £100-120 mark yesterday when I had a quick look when composing the reply, in the grand scheme of things, £30 ain't much difference.

Nail on the Head

I did consider that line of thought too :nono:

I would suspect this is a Gumtree advert, from the way it's written.

I would be avoiding that.

This is interesting.
I advertised on Gumtree asking for a 350d or other Canon, bloke texted and offered me a £1000 Canon for £200! he wanted to post as he was working away so could I do bank transfer!
To be honest I would only do a face to face deal with something as high tech as a camera, or from a forum member wthe good history as some one with nothing to hide would be happy with this.

Hi guys, who ever said gum tree 10 points! I have bought it all today and it's in great condition, the fella was getting on abit and wanted to down size his gear, the sb700 was brand new un opened box, the 1.4 50mm boxed and excellent condition as was the gps system and wireless remote. Not tested the lenses yet, oh yea the d700 aint bad either

Well done!
The problem is we are all a bit cautious of some of the offered deals we haer about.
Now get out and take some pictures"!
