Hi all,another newbie here.
I live in West Dorset used to live in S.E.London.
I love taking pix of just about anything,though at mo im not very good,spent past 3 years practicing,making small improvements.
Ive had the fuji S5000+S5500+ S8100 now im back to the S5600 but my aim is to get a Nikon D50.
Hope to learn alot from here so i'll prob be asking loads of questions..lol

You live in a beautiful part of the world Brenda. Hope you like doing landscapes/seascapes. Don't worry about improving your game before you post here. Post some pictures up and ask for feedback - it is a great way of learning, and it really doesn't hurt. Folk here are very constructive.

I think i'll get familiar with the site & rules before posting any pix Horrocks,dont want to get banned before I even start as I "nearly"posted a wanted untill I saw the rules..
hate reading instructions hence why my camera never does what I want it to :lol:

Heading down to your neck of the woods ( Lyme Regis ) in week or so.
You've plenty of photo opportunities on your doorstep.

you'll love lyme,my mum lives there,it's 10 mins drive from me in Bridport.
If you drive & have time I would suggest lullworth cove & durdle door exellent for photos or portland bill.
If you drive the coastal rd the B3157 from bridport to weymouth & stop at abbotsbuty hill,breathtaking views over weymouth/portland & westbay/lyme.
Hope the weather stays good for you.:)
