Hello folks :). I'm over here in one of the green bumpy bits of North Wales,,, retired, grumpy, bad knees, bad back, nice wife, good dog and a friendly cat.

I have a messy workshop with a lathe and make shiny things out of metal and hand stitch leather for the hell of it,,,,,,I also like photos,,,,

If you don't mind I'll sit down here and take time to get my bearings :)

Yesterday the sun decided to shine so we cancelled all plans and drove 60 miles all the way across Wales to the coast at Tywyn. Good dog blue decided to amble up and pose for me in a very heroic way,,, I quickly set the Canon to "auto-everything" and snapped him before he lost interest or saw a seagull ,,,,,, Blue the brave-heart,,,, Blue the proud,,, Strong and steadfast ,,,,Blue,,,, king of the food bowl!

Me too + have made numerous spinning wheels and looms. and used to spin an weave. Like to use my hands............
But lost both wife and dog......
But still take photographs.
 
Sorry about your wife and dog,,,,, life has a habit of getting messy at times :(

We had our other dog put to sleep on Monday,, jack Russell ,,, arthritis got him and we didn't want to see him suffer any more. He was as nice a dog as JR's can get ,,,, noisy, smelly but a little sweety at times
