Hi Everyone - Yep, another Newbie drags himself in from the cold and drops down beside the fire.

Obviously I have an interest in photography, if not then of course I'd not bother being here!
In my arsenal I have, at my disposel, a couple of K5's and an X100; shame I don't have the skills to match.

When not having my eye glued to the viewfinder I spend time collecting and researching WW1 medals to British Army & Royal Naval recipients as well as soldiers of the Canadian Army.

Interest in sports is limited to the Winter Olympics (I love to see people falling over), F1 (Red Bull is our Home Team) whilst I have a passing interest in the progress of the MK Dons, Nairn, Kilmarnock, QPR & Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Hi Mark - Yes, I'd heard about this one ( http://www.destinationmiltonkeynes....activities/red_bull_racing_milton_keynes_2011 ) and I've downloaded the map. Not sure if I should base myself at the F1 Paddock or Midsummer Place where they'll be selling goodies! Think I'll be getting there damned early as well as you say, it will be packed.
David Coultard, its been confirmed, will be driving the Red Bull NASCAR and motorcycle stunt rider Chris Pfeiffer will also be showing off his skills.

Quite an interesting little group who do have regular meets around MK, although I keep getting side-tracked and keep missing them!
Don't know if any are in the New City Photographic Club, which I've just started attending as a Visitor.
