Hi from Suffolk.

Hello. Just stumbled across this site and decided to give it a whirl. I am a latecomer to digital after giving up 35mm film photography around 20 years ago. I purchased a Nikon P510 bridge camera some eighteen months ago, which, soon turned into a Nikon D5100 which I have been using for just over a year. I also enjoy the processing as much as taking the shots, as the possibilities open are far greater than I ever had with film. I use View NX2 for RAW processing, before final editing in PS.
I am enjoying the learning curve all over again, and it's now so inexpensive to bin all the failures.

Many thanks to you all for the warm welcome. As with all forums, it'll take a while to get used to, but I look for forward to inputting as much as possible. I might even have a stab at a couple of rounds in the 2014 competition, although looking at some of the images around the forums, it looks like I'll not be troubling the scorer, as they say.

Thanks for the welcome. I sold all my film gear on a few years ago. Wishing I'd kept the lenses although I have switched from Pentax to Nikon so maybe not such a loss.
