Hi everyone, I posted for the first time last night, but I should introduce myself so here goes..

I spent the last four years working on community music projects in schools and composing music freelance.

I got my first camera with some compensation from a road accident, not really to get into it as a hobby, but just the odd shot etc.. However that camera was stolen, so I got A minolta Dimage 7Hi. Wore it out in 18 months, by this time the bug had bitten.. SO Nikon D70....


Now I shoot with a Nikon D300.

I have sold prints to my local tourist information office and trying to go a bit more pro..

Current;y looking at a couple of lenses and trying to sort the pros and cons of that. and location lighting which will come first..

Hi Nicci and TJcroom, thanks for your welcome, I have added a couple in Transport and in the lighting discussion. Of course I will add some more when I can.. Off to photograph Kestrels in a bit!
