im craig from sheffield, i am interested in learning what i call (clever photography)

here you can get lots of advices etc.

you just need to learn how to use/control your camera and after that just take pictures you like :thumbs:

by the way what camera you using?
 
not using any at the mo, just very interested in parting with mi dosh at either meadowhall or a local camera shop poss nikon d3100

you can try Harrisons cameras on London Road. you will get good advice too.

Youll learn loads here its a fab resource and we dont care if your a beginner or seasoned photographer, no question is to dumb so ask away Im sure youll get a great response, :thumbs: also thees always lots of meets to get to know folk
 
Hi Craig, Craig here.

I'm in Barnsley, but originally from Sheffield.
I go to a camera club at penistone...some decent folks there, some newbies who have only just got the camera. Some have had theirs a while and doing pretty good. Some have been taking photos for a long while, and some are great and some are a little stuck in certain ways. That's what happens in clubs, basically.

I learned some things from some people at the club, but most of my learning came from forums, this and several others.

Harrisons cameras are pretty good, certainly a better option than Jessops for good advice, however, I would ask the advice of people on forums such as this (or better still, search for it first on the forum, and if you don't find it, then ask). Then go to the shop with most of the advice you will need. Only thing we can't provide is the actual FEEL of the cameras that you can get in the shop.
