I'm a long time film shooter, particularly Medium & Large format 5x4 & 10x8. I have a background as a photo-chemist & emulsion manufacture.

From around 1986 I've worked on various project for exhibitions, I also worked with a small record company from around 1976 working with various bands, live and on location. I had begun shooting Digital for work, and with the demise of Kodak & Fuji's specialist push process E6 films bought my first Canon DSLR.

Somewhere in the middle I went back to University to study Industrial Archaeology, many of my projects are Industrial Landscapes, then did a Masters in Photography. For fun, I restore wood and brass cameras, and also TP roller blind shutters.

I have a dedicated darkroom with an enlarger for 35mm & 120, and a floor standing De Vere 5108 enlarger for LF, I print on fibre based papers, mixing most chemistry myself/
