Hi All!!

My name is Jim, i'm a fairly new hobby photgrapher and really enjoying getting out and about taking snaps whenever I can.

I currently have a Nikon D3100 that I'm starting to out-grow so looking to upgrade shortly - probably a D7000 (D7100 a bit too pricey for me at the moment!!)
I have a few of the popular lenses, 18-55, 55-200 and 35mm 1.8f.

Like taking shots of just about anything - I think one of my favourite places is walking along the South Bank in London, lots of interesting people and goings-on. Also like landscapes, buildings and anything quirky.

Only had my camera off Auto for about 6 months so learning loads and loving every minute of it.

It's very good to have you here and I hope you make yourself at home.

We really are a very friendly bunch with loads of great advice on hand . . . although you may find us slightly disorganised at the moment.
In case you haven't seen it we've just moved over to a brand new forum and we're just getting things settled back down :)
