Hi All, I am not really new to photography but new to the forum, obviously. I have just bought a new camera and have a renewed interest after a couple of years using my phone to catch all of the important moments in my life.

I have not studied photography in any depth so despite having lucked out and got a couple of decent pictures in the past, I am still a newbie with a lot to learn.

Im not really sure that I am into a specific genre of subjects to take pictures of but I do have a few interests and hobbies that tend to lend themselves to photography as well as a couple of young grandchildren.

Well, introductions are always a little awkward so I shall leave it there and hopefully catch you in the forum!

Thank you all for your warm welcome. I am currently trying to think of 5 ways to take a picture of an apple. I will try and post up the results at some point!
