Hi, from Essex!

Hi all, I'm Ollie from Essex. I'm am a freelance motoring journalist writing about anything which takes my fancy and the articles appear regularly in magazines and sometimes in a couple of daily papers. Car reviews and test drives, car shows, latest news etc.

Anyway, I mostly enjoy action and fast photography such as sports and racing as I tend to have press access to any event I go to so I like to get close to the action make the most of it and take all the pictures I can (bonus when they're bought an published) but occasionally enjoy landscape and portrait stuff too. Also done a couple of weddings as favours for friends which turned out well.

Current kit is Canon EOS 7D Mk2 w/battery grip, Canon EOS 600D, Sigma 17-50mm f2.8, Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS, Canon 50mm f1.8 and Speedlite 380, plus monopod, filters etc.

Always looking to expand my knowledge and of course, learn new tips and skills so this looks like a great forum to join up to.
