Hi from Essex

Just joined after these forums were recommended to me by a new colleague at work.
I have recently taken the step to go from my Sony Hx1 to my Canon 700D and finding out a lot day by day, I really need to learn a lot though so I'm hoping you guys can help.

Honestly, im yet to find anywhere locally that impressive. Its all very flat and featureless, as you know. I have a few wooded areas near me that are good when it snows or if there is fog/frost etc, and there are some decent shots to be had down on the riverbanks around sunrise. Apart from that.....
