Just a message to say Hi!

After trying to take better photos with my digi compact I decided to invest in a DSLR & see how I get on. I bought myself a used Olympus E410 & are looking for tips & assistance!

Ive bought an e-course from www.digital-slr-guide.com & am currently working through this & stuff is starting to make sense.

Not sure which software to use at the moment, I have Paintshop pro 7 on my works computer but it seems too heavy for me.

Any suggestions on simple, cheap or free, software would also be appreciated, just to convert colour photos to black & white, sepia & maybe airbrush a little cellulite!

Good on the DSLR purchase. You'll not look back.

Cannot help with the software.
I use PSE7. They all tend to be complex, but when you get round to shooting in RAW you'll come to appreciate them.

If you are looking for free software you could take a look at GIMP. Just Google and you'll see it. I don't use it myself but some people like it.
