Hello all,
This is my second post here - I uploaded a photo to the "People" forum tonight, before I noticed there was a "Welcome" forum - doh.
I'm in the fine city of Bristol.
I've been taking photos for a lot of my nearly 5 decades, starting with pre-WW2 box cameras. I used a Praktika SLR for about 15 years, broken and repaired several times till it finally died (still got it though!). The DSLR thing passed me by (they started to become cheaper/ more common not that many years after I spent a load of money on a Canon 35mm film SLR), and then I had a few years of not really being able to afford/justify the spend. The Canon eventually went in the cupboard and was replaced by a Canon Ixus for a few years.
Last year I discovered micro four thirds which has kind've rekindled the hobby for me.
I've been lurking here with a userid for a while, but now I thought I'd jump in.
