Hi All,

I have been told about this site from someone on a car site.

I just bought a Fuji Finepix S9600 and really need to learn how to use it :lol:

I have been using camera phones for ages (from a S/E S700 to my current K810i) I understand that is probs worse than swearing on here but I hope I'm forgiven ;)

I was given a Fuji a500 for my birthday and that is what really kicked off my little fascination with taking pics of everything. The decider for me was Donnington last weekend when most of the action pics were scrapped as blurry. I know the S9600 isn't a DSLR and that is whats needed for proper action shots for racing etc but I got this to see if I really get into digital photography before spending hundred on a 'proper' camera. :thumbs:

Excuse any ignorance I have shown or will show but I am a true noob in terms of using something that has the potential to do really good pics and I feel I need to actually learn how to use it.

I have just got a finepix S5000 (poor cousin) for the same reason as you. Hope to get really hooked and with more research and advice I'm sure I shall be getting a `proper' camera in short order. Look forward to seeing some pics.
