While clearing my email inbox, I discovered I first registered on this site over a year ago:eek:. Knowing absolutely no one who shares my passion with photography I found that this site has been my principle source of information and inspiration. I can honestly say that I'm truly humbled by a lot of the offerings from members here.

To put my "lurking" into context, if this were a club, I'd be the guy at the back of the room, saying nothing but soaking it all up because I guess, lack of confidence:oops: :$. So, with a deep breath, I'd like to put an end to that, learn more and if I possibly can, help someone else (after all, its only fair as a lot of you have unknowingly helped me already:rolleyes:).

Happy New year to everybody, I look forward to being a little bit more pro-active.

Hi, much the same as you, my camera sat around for nearly a year before i got round to using it in anger.

Iv'e had some good advice on.

Glad to see I'm not on my own:). My problem is work. It gets in the way of all of my fun!!
