Hi folks,
I'd been recommended to have a look at this forum - and it's brilliant. I'm sure to learn more here in a week than a month practising. Some of the photo's are so very good and it's what I want to be able to do myself.

I'm new to DSLR's - have been promised one from OH for my birthday in 9 days - so I'm going to post asking for advice - I'm already going around in circles :help:

I've always loved photography and travelling so my aim is to be able to capture the 'essence' - I've just got to suss out the camera I need.

I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you.

I'm new too and have found this site to be really helpful - I have started out from scratch and everyone has been really friendly!

hi all im new to this site too and must admitt so far so good i am a beginner too so i need lots of advice love photagraphy specially scenic pictures but have took loads of my daughter and family have said there better than some professional hehe but i dont think so need lots of work before im that good lol
