"Hi" from a new member

Hi everyone,
the name is Ian, and i am located in Telford, Shropshire.

I have been involved in photography at various levels for some years, and recently decided to renew my interest and hopefully get to meet new friends.

My first camera a Zorki 4, followed by a Zenith B, Praktica, Petax, Bronica... ahhhh the good old days of film.
First digital slr was the Nikon D70, and now the Samsung GX20.

Why the GX-20??? well i still had a load of lenses with Pentax fit and i acquired the GX-20 at a better price than the Pentax version.

Other interests include music (Composing and Recording), Video production, HAM radio.... oh, and flight sims.

Well that's about all i can think of for now....:bonk:

hi and welcome...experienced photographer..film etc

my first was a agfa karat with loadable cassettes which transferred the film from one side to the other..no rewinding

the zorki was a knockout and a good leica lookalike

time goes on and we get into digital and bigger and better and more complicated stuff
but the basics are still there in our heads and manual presents no problems
