Hi I am Anthony along with my Wife we live in a lovely part of the world here in Sidmouth Devon.

I have joined here as looking for my first Digital SLR and seem to be totally confused by certain specs of cameras and need some advise before i buy.
I am then sure ill need some help getting the most from it.

Please be gentle with me as i expect to make a fool out of myself with my ignorance of this subject.

Hi and welcome Anthony. You've come to the right place for advice. There are loads of members who will be glad to help you out. My advice is to get to a shop and get a hold of the cameras, even if you are not buying from them. The camera and controls need to feel right in your hands.

welcome to TP - Im in Taunton so were almost neighbours, as said, get to a decent camera shop and handle a few - see what suits you and your budget, not what the salesman recommends
