Hi, new to this site and pretty well new to the photography, been doin it now for a few months and basically self taught.

I really like taking pics of birds in flight and would love some tips on doing this

My camera is the canon 1100D

I know i have to use a fast shutter speed 1000 plus but i had to raise my ISO settings which grained my pics

Is manual best with auto ISO ?
