Hi,

Just registrered and joined the site. I'm a distance learning (mature) art student trying to undertake a degree in photography. I use a combination of film and digital cameras.

Hi Len,welcome to TP, You will find film more forgiving, but Digital a great tool to learn with.
You can put right a heck of a lot of mistakes in post processing but the trick is to get it right in the beginning.
As you are on a course you will have been told that,if not you have the wrong teacher.........
