gday my names lewis
firstly i just thought i would say what an amazing place talk photography is, i cant believe the amount of variation and depth there is in one place for one subject, its great!
So anyway il explain why im here. after recentley buying my girlfriend a sony a380 with 18-70mm lens (it was that or a 450d) i have begun getting itchy fingers and as i full well know, its 'her' camera not mine
Ive always wanted to learn and increase my photography skills, now its got to the point where having top photos are a must for my Design Degree
i was thinking something along the lines of a sony a200/a230, do they still peform kinda like the a380? i would really like an a350 but cant afford one unless one came for under £300 body only. The great thing about getting a sony will be i can use my girlfriends and a friends lenses, oh and i have a few minolta lenses hiding at home somewhere... yippee
also i know the university loans out various equipment so thats a plus too, however if i get really into photography i could see myself buying more than borowing
what do you all think... oh and thanks for taking the time to read all that if you got this far!
