Hello.

New to the site but looking forward to talking to some people and picking up some tips on photography. Moved down south to Devon (UK) and thought I would try my hand at some photography starting nearly a year ago. Jumped straight in with my D5000 and everything set to manual so I could learn from my mistakes as I went along. I have been loading pics to my flickr account - www.flickr.com/photos/roanmanion as I have gone along taking advise and inspiration from others.
As it is close to a year at it I thought I would join a group of people that I feel confident in talking about tec and settings and learning some more.

Hi Roan- Im not too far from you ( Taunton) we do have regular meets within the Sth West a sort of Photographers day out- keep your eyes peeled in thr ,meeting section of this forum


I look forward to seing some of you shots on TP, in due course
