Just a quick hello!

I've moved up to a Canon 400D from my trusty Fuji F450 after some holiday snaps left me wanting and was invited here by a friend for general tips, guidance and camera-ardarie! Unfortunately I don't know what her user name is, so Mrs A, PM me!! :)

Yay - matey - just seen your post in general and said to Dan..... does this sound like someone we know, has user name of Dan, from Nottingham and posting piccies of Wales and Santorini.....

Glad you could come and join us... you are now on the slippery slope to having lots on your credit card due to here :D:D:D:D:D:D

A-ha! Well, I'm really resisting the urge to spend big at the moment!

I'm going to see if I can get a 50mm after Christmas if Jessops have a sale; first thing is to see what I can do back in Wales with the kit lens over Christmas, and I think a 50mm might be wasted on the rolling scenery up in Snowdonia :bonk:

One minor annoyance is that I've been getting err 99 messages already! They seem to go away after the camera's been on for a while after I've messed around with it.. I'm thinking it's the cold weather or something!
