Evening All, I've just invested in a Sony A58. After much research and (what seemed pretty genuine advice from the bloke in Jessops) it seemed the right camera on the novice side of things and for my bank manager. Hope to learn, learn and learn some more on here.

Welcome Sam, I use Sony mostly, never had a problem, your A58 will do everything you need. :)
