Hi I'm very new with no idea yet!! Still pondering what camera to buy, based in Milton Keynes and I'm very interested in capturing real life shots of people

Thank you, I'm looking to spend about £500 initially to include a lens to get going, but something I can add onto

I'm thinking Canon 550d or Nikon D3100 ??
Are there any photography groups in Milton Keynes I could tag along to?
