Hello all, As you can probably tell by my username, my names jamie lol and i live in bolton near manchester.

I am interested in photography with the end goal to become a professional photographer for weddings and such, i am a complete novice and as yet do not own a camera (unless you count the one on my phone haha :bonk.

Would it be ok to ask advice here or better done elsewhere?

Many thanks and i look forward to spending a lot of time here learning and maybe one day helping people.

Ps. i also fly RC helicopters and will eventually be looking to try some aerial photography in the future

If it is a question on a specific subject, ie: aircraft, then you will find an appropriatte section for that. Just post your question and wait for the answers!
