Morning all, I'm Tony (AKA termite53). As the new kid on the block I was told about this site by a fellow member. I had an interest in photography as a child (a long time ago now) starting out with a Box Brownie...620 roll film I remember.
After using bridge cameras for a few years I bought my first DSLR just under a couple of years ago, a Canon 1100D, entry level I know but in my opinion a great camera. I was given a lens to start with by my brother but most of the other lenses I have, came, would you believe from charity shops, at silly prices. A great way to start if you are on a budget.
I hope to upgrade in the next few weeks, the 60D is in my sights, in my price range and a few more bells and whistles. The tilt screen will be a boon as I have trouble getting low owing to an old foot injury.
I like experimenting in Photoshop and Lightroom and have no real area that I like to specialise in, although I do like photographing interesting people.
