Hi all, just joined the forum after recently buying my first decent camera, well a proper camera and not my iphone. Its a Canon Powershot sx50, 99% of the features are going to waste with me being a complete newbie. Hopefully in time, advice from the pro's on here i'll get out of auto .

Anyway heres a couple of shots from crimbo day which I was quite pleased with. Any basic advice to any info online to get the best from my camera/features? I do need to invest in a tripod. Cheers.
