Hi All,
i just came across this forum while looking into Photography equipment insurance, strange what you come across on the internet these days!
Anyway to introduce myself - born and bred in Essex but work in London. I've been a keen photographer for over 40 years started with an Olympus Camera (OM2 SP) but am now using Canon - 70D, 7D and R7. I travel to Africa a lot for the wildlife (its helps that i have a wife from South Africa). We, my wife is a better photographer than me, also take video of our trips, to the national parks in Africa, for Youtube. we have planned an 'Overland ' trip for next year traveling around 9 or 10 Southern African countries taking in as many nature reserves/national parks as possible including places like Mana Pools in Zimbabwe which is a wildlife photographers holy grail. hence the search for insurance that lead me here.
Thanks for allowing me to join, I will enjoy scanning the topics on the forums and finding something that will be helpful to me if not i will ask the question.
P.S. where is the best place on the forum to ask the question about insurance?
