Just thought i would come make a post since i'm new ..

I'm Francesca from Scotland, Clydebank which is near Glasgow.. I'm 17 years old, I go to Clydebank College. Next year i hope to study Photography or Film & Media.. Don't know what to apply for, since both look good. I just got a new camera for christmas to start me of etc, but i've been doing photography for ages but not with a good camera, i got the canon EOS 400D and i love it, but still getting used to it lol.

Anyways i've said enough hehe

Howdy Frankee, welcome to the forums :D

You might find that Photography and Film&Media overlap slightly anyway. I did media at college and they organised a photography session one summer holiday, but you also pick up video camera skills which are not very different to stills camera skills, same basics of compositions, aperture, focus etc.. and again you make look at motion photography in a photography course. Realise that isnt much help sorry :p but best of luck with whichever you choose.
