Hi there,
My name's Biggz and i've recently been given the photography bug from my girlfriend.
On a recent holiday I was forever asking "can I borrow your camera?" She has a Canon 450D and I had a lot of fun with it.
One week later and i'm the proud owner of a Sony a200. I couldnt justify spending an awful lot on camera gear and for £270 the price couldn't be beaten.
So far I have most enjoyed taking photographs of urban areas, rural landscapes and wildlife.
I would like to get into HDR photography but my camera isn't the best equipped for that as it doesnt have very good settings for auto exposure bracketing. However, I wont let that deter me, I'll just have to shoot the different exposures manually!
So far I've managed to create a couple of Galleries showing photographs that i've taken, there's not a lot but it's a start.
High Force Waterfall, Teesdale
Rievaulx Abbey, near Helmsley
Thanks for all the helpful advice you've already given me, I've been a quiet lurker for a week or so.
