Hey guys and girls,
I've recently stumbled across this site whilst trying to figure out how to use my new camera. I've always just had a compact digital camera but as my daughter has been growing up (way too fast for my liking) and not being able to see her as often as i'd like due to a separation with her mum i branched out and bought my first DSLR to "document" her growing up with the aid of pictures.
Anyway i bought the Nikon D5100 with the lens kit and so far its amazing (for what i've been used to in the past) and thats only on the "auto" mode
I've read a few posts on here but took the plunge to as seriously n00b questions to you lot to laugh at and point me in the right direction
