Hey guys.

Im a n00b when it comes to photography but I really want to get into it.

Decided to drop myself in the deep end and buy myself a Canon 300D off fleabay for cheaps (should be arriving on friday). You may be thinking "all the gear and no idea", and you would be correct. I probably shouldnt have started off with a dslr, albeit an old one, but I like the challenge. So any help I can get I will take.

Iv started looking around the internetz for help. Lots of good stuff out there so I'd better get reading.

I'm a fan of the video tutorial so if you know anywhere you can point me that would be great :D.

Buying a dslr was an excellent choice - it will offer you more flexibility and features as you learn and therefore save you money in the long run!

As for tutorials etc - check out TP! there is so much knowledge on here it is immense! And get posting images as soon as it arrives. Crit is THE best way to learn!

Thats exactly why i got a dslr straight away. didnt want to limit myself from the off but also didnt want to go throwing loads of money in to find i dont like it lol, so got an old one.

I'll get on the tuts straight away :D.

i was lucky and got mine for £120 with an 18-55mm lens :) ebay bargain!
