We went to Sandtoft airfield this afternoon hoping to see any aircraft flying and what did we see...another plane crash AND who do you think got all the shots AGAIN Pete.
By the way pilot is ok only his pride is hurt but you should have seen all the emergency services that arrived
1 fire engine, 3 paramedic ambulances and about 6 police cars and the riot van.
Me I didnt get any shots .I'm not brave enough to point a camera at police etc. :(
 
The riot Van?

Was it a Con Air flight?

This is at the point the pilot actually stopped it doing a barrel roll down the runway and it was still travelling at about 30-40mph here but slowing rapidly, the pilot did an amazing job not to turn it over, maybe because he only had a soft leather helmet and if it had gone over it would have ended up much worse
 
HAHA ....it didnt Alex, look at the rudder ...........its actually doing its last cartwheel here but does stop something like this (yes cartwheel and doesnt touch the ground) first cartwheel does the rudder in as shown but it just slides for about 10 yrds from here and stops in a cloud of steam n stuff so me camera is down and I am walking to crash site ready to run and give help .......but not needed
