I haven't got a clue what to do, my son has gone and changed the router ip.
I can't connect, can't get to the wireless settings, can anyone tell me what I should be looking for? Please

I'm using dial-up at the mo

sounds like you need to get into router control panel and see whats going on mate. Usually default cp access IP's are 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 and then your user name and password....
silly question, where IS the culprit and can he not sort it out?

Yes thats the other option, use the reset button, though you may have to go through set up procedure again afterwards

Ok we reset and have got the network back, so I am able to access the router panel, but can't connect to the net.
The settings have changed and i have no idea what they were as my (ex) husband set it all up, my son remembers most of them and knows more than me about it!!

So any suggestions as to what we should be looking for now?

Eventually got it sorted! If my son had looked at the first place I told him to , it would have been sorted sooner.
The only problem I have now is that I can't get my emails through outlook express :bang:
