I need to buy another flash this one is for the wife and I don't want to spend a lot of money on it :)

Anyway it needs to be TTL and I have several Yongnuo manual flash's which I have been pleased with so think they are the best option.

Anyway I was going to buy a YN-568 but I see there now appears to be a YN-568II so I thought I might as well get the newer version but are these Canon only?

When I search on amazon for YN-568 Nikon this one comes up but it doesn't seem to confirm anywhere I can see if the hotshoe mount is Nikon or Canon.

Cheers Adrian not sure how I missed that will order the other one.

Yongnuo have a website where they describe the different models and which cameras they are for.
They used to put 'C' or 'N' to denote which camera they were for, but they may have included electronics to figure it out now.

not many are nikon based, only a few

why not look at shanny, they have a decent nikon selection and compete directly with YN

Holy thread resurrection forgot to reply to this ended up going with a Shanny which has been great have since bought a few for my own use as well great for the money.
