Help with taking product pictures for website

Hi everyone,

My first post since joining your forum. Can someone give me some advice please. I want to take photos of my Blu-ray discs boxes for display on my website, need a plain white background so that I can remove it easily in photoshop... trouble is if I shoot with a plain white card behind the products then I can see shadows and these are difficult to take out and cheapen the look of the products.

Any advice greatfully received.

Make a Lightbox dont know what size youll need just make as big as you need, cheap and easy to make and they work

Or have a little stand for the pack and the background several feet away and lit separately so it's no affected by shadows from the pack, then you just need to remove the stand in photoshop.
