Help with printing blanks!

Hi guys, I have a mac and trying to print on a Canon ip4600, but when I print it just runs the paper through and i end up with a blank with it making no attempt to print from cs6. It prints the test page fine and prints fine from canons easy print ex and LR4, any ideas? thank you :)

My Epson R1400 does that some times have you tried sending it through directly after it fails or starting it off by hand
 
Thanks for the replies guys, yes poah, its occurred since Adobe did a remote assist but im not sure what they did when I had a lightroom issue, they cant help as involves a 3rd party equipment (canon printer) think I may have to do a re-install :( ive not nikonuser but ill give it a go! thanks for taking the time guys!
 
reinstall CS6 - does it do it with plane paper too or just photopaper?
 
Have a look at your paper set up in the printing dialogue. It may be you are trying to print on the wrong size or set up
 
Hey guys thank you again, ive re-installed and all seems well, im not sure what happened there to be honest but all seems good and updates done, nice one :)
 
I had to reinstall my R2400 drivers the other day, no reason why I couldn't print as nothing had changed since the last time I did.
 
Strange beasts I guess!
