Hello

I have been taking pics for a couple of years mainly whilst out with the dog. I have started to get more serious about post production of the pics but not sure if I am improving the pics or not (I have put thumbnails in this thread)

First is a pic with minor changes made (in picasa 3)

The second is the same pic with changes made in Elements 5 and cropped a bit further

Both pics have been through Neat Image and PixResizer

Any comments or suggestions most welcome

If you were trying to get an "atmospheric" effect the second one has achieved this. Not sure about the first, again it all depends what you were trying you achieve.

It's always a good idea as to what you want to achieve when you start. Sometimes though " I wonder if I do this what'll happen" can lead to some interesting results

On the second one I was trying to get some atmosphere to the pic, the first was mainly trying to brighten the pic up. I must admit their is an element of what happens if....

Thanks for your reply Chappers and advice or comments welcome
