Hi All,

I need some help please !!

I have an image taken at a friends wedding (I was a guest) which the bride and groom like but want it larger in size.

I took original shot in JPEG but its only 2.6 Mb in size and they want it cropped.

But when I crop it the file size is reduced.

How do I crop it whilst maintaining as a high a resolution as possible??

If someone could help I would be so grateful, better still if someone could edit for me I would pay donation to a nominated charity.

When you say you want it bigger, how big do you mean? Theres software around designed for up-scaling images, some use better algorithms than other and do a slightly better job.... But you can only go so far before the quality starts to go.
 
free trial of photoshop cc..that has the new upscaling stuff in it...big of a sledgehammer to crack a nut tho.

If its a one of off PM me and I'll upscale for you, but please bear in mind if its a small jpeg and you cut it down either further..it'll only go so far
