Hey, i just purchased the Jessops 360AFD Digital Flashgun for Canon, it's my 1st flash gun and i am having some problems getting the right amount of light out of it.
I am doing a nightclub shoot at the weekend and really want to get my settings down before going. I was practising at home last night with the lights down to re-create the lighting of the club (obviously i couldn't do this too accurately). I want the flash gun on manual and not TTL so it doesn't fire a pre-flash and the rear sync is more effective but i'm not sure of the settings i should use.
I have a 450D and will be using a low apeture and low shutter speed so i can capture the atmosphere of the club but what about the flash?
Advice will be greatly appreciated
