Never having had any prints made before and after being given the advice to use DS Colour Labs to print a few images I've now got my knickers in a twist trying to send them the images.

I'm after 10" x 7" prints which on the DSCL site shows as 3000 x 2100 pixels. In my Image Size box I have the pixel dimensions of 3000 x 2100 but the document size shows as something completely different.

In CS4, I also tried to add a signature to one of the images but even at the maximum text size, it looked very tiny.

Any help or advice please would be most welcome.

Hi
When adding your text in photoshop were you zoomed in at 100% if not your text will appear small.
I am not an expert but just a thought.

Thanks for the reply Garry, unfortunately, it's not that.

where the size is in photosop 72 just type 200 in the box see how that looks......change it to what u want
failing that just use free transform.......if the font is a naturaly small one then it may be hard to get a clear text at size you want

You need to change the DPI setting in the image size dialog in Photoshop. This doesn't actually change the image in any way, it's just a field tucked away in the file somewhere. Don't change the actual image size, there's no need. Don't crop it either.

Thanks for all the help.
