and i have one favourite photo...which is not my favourite..so i want it removed
well
any help appreciated
ps i can tie my shoelaces...toad style

You can't make photos private AND show them on here without inviting everyone on here to view them. You have to invite people by email and with 57,900 members on here you'll be emailing for the rest of your life.

Make them all public and share them by putting the link to to each photo in the message. As for the group just go to that group in question and near the top is a button that will say 'Joined'. Hover over that and a down arrow appears. Select Leave.

If you are in a Flickr Group and want to leave, you can as if I am right you click on the LHS for leave group. You can have a photo on Private and post it, but members wont be able to get it up on Flickr.

Here is one of my private ones, if you don`t want it here in your thread just say and I will delete it.

  1. Hover over 'YOU' on the top left of the webpage to bring up the drop-down menu.
  2. Click on 'CAMERA ROLL' from the drop-down menu, which will display thumbnails of all of your photos.
  3. Click each photo you want to make private, they will be superimposed by a tick.
  4. When you have selected all of the photos you want to make private, go to the bottom left of the webpage and select 'PRIVACY', (with the padlock icon).
  5. From the box that appears select your choice of action (Public/Private etc) and click 'CHANGE'.

the national geographic is gone now
thanks

what i was getting into trouble about was downloading a chaps work to edit and then putting it on flikr to upload as an item to put on the forum
then the person didnt want their shot on my flikr..so i delete it..and it no longer shows in the thread

what does one use to host shots so that they arent seen by others except with a password....except on the forum that is

i used pix.ie for ages and lost mega Gb shots now its down...it worked ok
cheers

Would http://tinypic.com/ work for you, Geof?

As Simon says, save on your computer and use that button. OR you could upload it to your forum gallery and link to it there rather than on Flickr.

Thanks both
Just noticed the upload
Hurrah
