Hi,

This has just happened to me and I have no idea what I've done or more importantly how to fix it. I have been editing one or two recent sunflower pictures which have been fine. Then I came to open another picture which opens fine when selecting the raw file (before), however when you then "open file" inorder to further edit the image, some of the colours are pinky/purple blocks. This now happns on any of my sunflower images but not on other images I have. The only difference between them being it seems to change the yellow. Other images I have tried to open which have been fine, haven't had this yellow. Have I managed to get it to auto replace a shade of yellow with pink, or is there another problem? Either way, can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix it?

I'm still new to PSE so I wouldn't be surprised if lack of knowledge combined with fat fingers have meant I've changed a setting here or there!

Many thanks in advance,

Richard.

It may be you need to put your Cache higher and drop your history states down then re-start. Just an idea !

Its under EDIT - PREFERENCES - PERFORMANCE - HISTORY & CACHE. Bump up the Cache and drop History States.
Also check the ram amount as well.

First thing you might like to do is update the ACR to 6.1 from this Adobe link>> http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4730

This might cure your problem .....;)

Both, thanks very much for taking the time to reply. As it happens it appears to be problem fixed without either of the above solutions - maybe just a glitch?

TTK, I'll be sure too download the update anyway and Pete Bird, thanks, I'll bear that in mind should it happen again.

Many thanks,

Richard.
