Hi I'd really appreciate if anyone can help with this. I'm having a great deal of difficulty buying a simple green screen on stand. I've scoured thousands of the usual amazon and ebay products. They all all have one thing in common. They are supplied with folded backdrop which remains permanently creased no matter what you do try to fix it. My opinion is don't break it first and I might buy it - But they all seem intent on damaging the product first and supplying pigeon english instructions on how to repair lol. I need about 2m high, by 2m width. 2 stands with the pole across the top kind of thing. With a green background (something non plastic / non reflective /non creased). There must be a supplier somewhere that supplies a kit with a green backdrop which is rolled not folded? Thanks for any help.

Thanks Sep9001. Thats getting me more on the right track. But out of my budget. Maybe I have to spend more than I'd planned.
I have tried a cloth and had the same problems, so should have bought vinyl at the start and would not have wasted money.

You do have the option of getting paper, which might be a bit cheaper.

IMG_4900.JPG IMG_4900.JPG IMG_4900.JPG thanks, i didn't know about vinyl. How is it supported? I can mount it to any cheap amazon background stand? with a horizontal pole?

Really i just need a better set up than this attached which shows the overlaps after chromakey affect is applied. Kinda small scale. I'm using a4 foam boards here but they don't supply in bigger sizes. I was thinking a roll would give me the vertical background and I can run it over the flat horizontal surface to make a seemless backdrop.

Depends on the size you get?

What do you want to use it to photo/video?

I recently had a job where I needed to buy a green screen (on a tight'ish budget) so opted for a cotton / muslin background. I also bought some of those black and orange spring clips, in a large flavour!

The cloth came folded, but when hung I used the clips to fix along the sides and tool box on the bottom middle. The clips has a large centre hole which did not grip the stand pole, instead it clamped strongly to the fabric and could slide up and down easily. When I added the weight to the bottom the whole backdrop tensioned and was as wrinkle free as I needed (from folded).

I was only shooting head and shoulders of people standing, there were a few wrinkles bottom left and right, which did not bother me. I could have got rid of them with a few sand bags if needed.

The kit I bought included three lights (one on a boom) so I could really light the green well, I already have two lights to light the person but used the boom to get some light on their hair.

This was 3m wide and was used on location so could not have got a roll of vinyl or paper in my car.
