Help UFRAW Gimp and black edges

Hey folks,
I 've just got back from montenegro and started to do some editing of the photos taken. When i open a RAW file (450d) UFRAW causes there to be black lines (very pixelated) along the edges and sometime in the corners of the photo. I think it may be some sort of adjustment for len distortion. Can anyone help?

If it is, it looks like you built UFRaw from source and there are acknowledged issues with the lensfun library, which is why the developer suggests it is not included in distributed binaries.

It may of been vignetting from the lens hood but it has occured on two lenses (one without a hood) and is not on the JPEGs straight from the camera.

You're right, that certainly does look like correction for lens distortion. It's not vignetting.

So, do you have a lens correction tab?

If so, you could try turning it off, or cropping the corrected image to taste (which is what I would do in Photoshop or Lightroom)

Cheers Rob, i just deleted all the setting and it seems to work not sure if there is a better way to do it though.
