I have a Canon IP4300 and all my colour photo prints have a pink colour cast to them compared to on screen. I know this is something to do with the printer calibration and proof useage but I am not sure where to go from here. Is there a quick way of fixing this?

I don't want to pay for a hardware calibration. I don't need it to be smack on. I just white to be white and a closer match.

What do you guys do?

I hardware calibrate my monitor, and use the profiles from the paper manufacturers, this should give you acceptable results.

the profiles are than use when printing from photoshop, and the printer color correction is turned off. So photoshop is applying the correct paper profile.
Also set for relative colourimetric with black point compensation unless the profile requires you to change these.
