help on Black skies in mono..

Ok whats the best way to get really nice black skies against nice fluffy white clouds in a mono conversion?
Have tried alsorts but it just gets really noisy.
I have CS2 and lightroom if that helps? :bonk:

Using Channel Mixer to convert and dumping all the blue I would imagine is the easiest way.

I'll assume you know how to use the channel mixer to convert to mono.
