Hi all, got this photo but I have blown the highlights anyone out there who can work some magic and let me know what they did I would be grateful...

Something like this after a couple of minutes messing?

Moved the black point slider in levels adjustment to meet the end of the histogram. Also moved the mid point levels slider to darken it a little. Also dropped the brightness slightly in brightness/contrast adjustment, followed by the smallest of tweaks to contrast.

i played dangerously with the colours but then experiments are useful

used the layers mode with adjustment on each image.
